Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 I have a 'Downloads' item pinned to my Quick access that just won't go away. It points to a secondary drive (D:) that died shortly after I upgraded (unrelated to the upgrade, it was its time). I have since re-pointed my 'Downloads' folder to point to a different drive, but the original one just won't go away. Part 2: Unpin Folders from Quick Access Open the File Explorer. From the left Quick Access pane, right-click on the item you want to unpin and select “ Unpin from Quick access ” from the drop-down menu. Now your selected item will disappear from Quick Access. This guide will cover how to turn off all frequently used folders from appearing in Quick access in Windows 10. Tip: You can manually remove individual folders by right-clicking on them and then clicking “Unpin from Quick access” or “Remove from Quick access”. One of the revamped features in Windows 10 is the “Quick Access” view in File Explorer. Quick Access replaced the “Favorites” view from Windows 8.1 and aims to blend user-defined favorite locations—i.e., Desktop, Downloads, and Documents—with an automatically generated list of frequently and most recently accessed files and folders.

Unpin From Quick Access Bar
Hey everyone,
I just upgraded my Surface Pro 3 to Windows 10. Most bugs I'm able to workaround. But there's one glitch I can't seem to solve.
After I upgraded, a strange blank folder appeared under QuickAccess called 'OneDrive-2015-02-17' (note that I just upgraded yesterday, 2015-02-20). This is NOT my real OneDrive, which is located somewhere else and is simply called 'OneDrive'. This folder however, I'm not able to open. Trying to open it gives me this error:
If you notice in the picture, underneath the file it says it's located on the Desktop, but it's definitely not on my Desktop - I can only find it under QuickAccess. If I try to delete it, it says 'Could not find this item.' It asks me to verify its location and try again. So deleting it doesn't work. And if I right click and choose 'Unpin from Quick Access', nothing happens at all. I have tried that dozens of times, and nothing happens at all. It seems stuck there. I can't open it, delete it, or unpin it.
Thanks for your help!
